Part of the Dukes of Bragança Palace's roof, seen from the castle walls. It's a unusual roof, with a strange geometry and it has 39 brick chimneys that give it an strange aspect, yet pleasant.

Hi Gerald. I've seen the Chimney pot at Dunkirk Farm in your Blog, and it is indeed a little odd :) This chimneys are all made of bricks from the time of the palace construction (15th century). There are 39 all over the roof and they are 7,5 meters tall and about 1 meter diameter. Yes, they are very formal chimneys. Cheers
